Al-Maliki receives the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Iraq

Nouri Al-Maliki, the head of the State of Law Coalition , Confirmed on Iraq openness to all world countries, especially Arab and Islamic countries.

Al-Maliki’s media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the head of the state of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, received at his office today the ambassador of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Iraq , Abdulaziz Al-Shammari ".

The statement added that "the two sides reviewed issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest political and security situations the regional and international arenas  witnessed ".

The head of the state of Law Coalition said that "Iraq is open to all countries of the world, especially Arab and Islamic countries, and proceeds in its relations from common interests in various fields".

For his part, Ambassador Al-Shammari explained "the kingdom's keenness to strengthen the mechanisms of communication with Iraq in various fields, and support efforts aimed at consolidating the foundations of constructive cooperation between the two countries to serve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples in development and well-being".
