DMI announces the overthrow of a terrorist in Anbar

The Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) announced ,on Friday , the overthrow of a terrorist who works as a major carrier of weapons and materiel within the Daesh terrorist organization in Anbar province.

"with a qualitative operation and a distinguished intelligence effort, according to accurate intelligence information of the division of the 5^th  division of the Military Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with the intelligence and strength of the 19^th  brigade, with the participation of a force from the intelligence and counter-terrorism department of al-Rutba, and through a controlled ambush, one of the terrorists wanted by the Iraqi judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article ( 4/terrorism) in the al-Rutba district in Anbar province was arrested” the Directorate said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The statement added that" the terrorist was working as a carrier of weapons, materiel, military equipment, medical materials and others, and also worked as a driver in carrying out terrorist attacks at the time " , indicating that "he was handed over to the demanding party originally".
